Full spring; the last of the artichokes, fava beans and peas, spring onions (so, vignarola), peas, agretti and asparagus. The sweetest strawberries, small and perfumed.
Seasonal lunch classes are a small group cooking experience that starts at the market and ends with a convivial lunch. On the menu there is always handmade pasta, a seasonal vegetable dish or two, a small fish or meat course that fits the season, and a dolce made with fruit picked out at the market. The group has a maximum of five participants and we choose the menu together as we shop.
Start time is 9.30 am at Totem Garden Bar, Largo Ravizza , on the Circonvallazione Gianicolense – Tram 8 and Bus H. After a quick coffee we stroll up to Mercato San Giovanni di Dio. We normally finish about 15.30 at the studio, Via Giacomo Corradi 14a.
